About the host
gather around
By The Earth Living is founded and owned by Jastina B., and it started with a simple love for hosting — the joy of setting a table and bringing people together. Gatherings are the epicenter of everything we make — every piece is built to be part of that moment.

The Art of Hosting
"Sit, sit — I'll get you some chai." That's the first thing you'd hear, before you'd even taken your shoes off. It didn't matter if you were there for five minutes or five hours. Someone was already filling the kettle.
Dinner was worse, in the best way. You'd say you were full, and no one would hear it. A little more would land on your plate before you finished protesting. "Just a little," they'd say, spooning on a lot. By the time you actually left, you'd eaten more than you meant to, had three cups of tea you didn't ask for, and somehow left with a container of food for the road anyway — because you can't send someone home hungry, and you definitely can't send them home empty-handed.
That was never about the food, not really. It was the not-taking-no. The insisting. The way "no thank you" just meant "not yet." By The Earth Living comes from that same table — one that doesn't let you leave until you've been fed, filled up, and sent off with something in your hands.

Our Values
Hospitality Isn't Optional — No guest leaves hungry, or empty-handed.
Made by Hand — Shaped by hands taught by hands, generation to generation.
Every Guest Gets the Full Table — No occasion too small, no guest treated small.
Responsible by Design — From design to distribution, every step made with care — for you, and for the earth.
Tradition, Passed Down — Made to be handed forward, the same way it was given to us.

Product of the month

Some bowls are made for the meals where everyone reaches in together. Wide, deep, and generous, the flower bowl was shaped for salads, curries, and the dishes that bring people closer around the table. Made from stoneware, it holds its place at the center of any spread with quiet, unmistakable presence.

gather at the table
In every home, the table is where life unfolds.
It is where stories are told, meals are shared, and moments become memories.
By The Earth Living creates objects that belong to these moments. Thoughtfully made and meant to be lived with, each piece becomes a part of your everyday rituals.
Because the best meals are not perfect, they are shared.
testimonials
"These plates have become part of our weekly dinner ritual — they just make the table feel more intentional. You can tell each piece was made by hand."
"Simple, beautiful, and durable. I've had mine for months and they still look brand new, even with daily use."
"Minimalist design meets everyday function — perfect for gatherings and daily use."

A Simple Love for Hosting
It started with a trip, not a plan. Our founder traveled to India and found a small village where potters had been shaping clay by hand for generations — the same wheels, the same worn hands, the same quiet patience passed down long before her.
Watching them work, she kept thinking about her own table back home — the chai poured for anyone who stopped by, the plates refilled before anyone could say no. These pieces belonged there. What began as a passion project — a way to hold onto that craft and bring it to the tables she hosted at — became By The Earth Living.

Rooted in Indian Craftsmanship
At a time when most tableware felt mass-produced and impersonal, there was a growing desire for objects that carried meaning, pieces that felt handmade, thoughtful, and connected to their origin. By the Earth Living was created to bring that sense of craft and story back into everyday kitchens.

More Than a Collection
Rooted in Indian craftsmanship and inspired by the idea of gathering, the brand focuses on creating pieces that are not just functional, but expressive and are designed to be part of real homes, real meals, and real conversations. As the brand grows, the vision remains the same: to build more than just a collection of products, but a way of living — one where food, people, and the table come together, effortlessly and beautifully.

Still Gathering
A Table for Everyone
Today, that same instinct still shapes everything we make. Every plate, bowl, and cup is designed to be part of real homes, real meals, and real conversations — pulling up a chair for anyone who wants one.

The Design
Every shape starts on the wheel. Our designs stay close to traditional forms, adjusted only for how they'll actually be used — at your table, in your kitchen, day after day.
Materials
Clay, water, and natural glazes — nothing synthetic. We source honestly and work with the same materials artisans in India have used for generations.
The Know-How
Every step — shaping, drying, firing, glazing — follows the same rigorous standards, ensuring each piece is durable and food-safe, and still beautiful enough to be the centerpiece of a table.
