Oval Bowl

The oval is an older shape than the circle—more generous, less rigid, closer to the forms found in nature. Thrown at the wheel from stoneware, it moves easily between roles, holding a simple side dish on one evening and taking the center of the table the next. A shape that never feels out of place.
